Memorial Day Weekend!

- This is the waterfall right down the road from my grandparent's camp, where I was for Memorial Day weekend. It had rained a lot up there so all the water around was really high and fast. It isn't usually that dirty either,that's from the high waters.

This is a picture of Lake Christine, which is also near my grandparent's camp. The water usually starts past the wooden posts.

This is a random picture I took of one of the wooden bridges. We were trying to geocache,but that kind of failed.

This was a little spot of really dirty water of the wooden bridge. Kind of gross.

On the way back home, it was just my mom and I, we decided the Basin would be a nice bathroom spot. (No, we didn't go in the Basin - we did have to use the disgusting outhouse though)

Random update

This is the dress I decided to get for prom! I really like it. I had gotten another one from Macy's.. but then I was shopping with my friend and decided that I liked this one a lot better! :)

This picture is from one of the days I went snowboarding this winter! Sad to say.. I don't think I'll be going again until next year. :/ I was able to go more this year then I think I've ever gone though! So that was good! :)

I also got my license! I even have the "real" one now! It feels gooood. I haven't really gone that far,but I still like the fact that I could drive some where if I wanted to!

I think that's about it, I probably just wrote that for myself anyways.. I don't know if anyone's even reading this thing any more. :)

Happenings...

Last week..ish. I don't remember when, but we had a mini ice storm. It wasn't nearly as bad as the one we had a couple years ago.. which made it a little more pretty!

Saturday was my birthday! And party!

I had a great day, it was very enjoyable:)

It's been a pretty long week for me. It seems like it, at least.
Friday morning, my brother and I got all our wisdom teeth out. It really wasn't nearly as bad as people had talked about it being. They were a little bit sore friday night, but other than that they really haven't hurt at all. I am soo thankful for that! :)
Saturday, I did a little bit of shopping with my mom and sister.. and we ordered new mattresses! I can't wait to get mine! They'll be in sometime during the beginning on February, just in time for my birthday!
I know I've done way more than that. But, that's the main stuff, I guess.

We finally got a good snow storm the other day! That made my day! :) I didn't think it was even gonna come. It did, and it was great for snowboarding that I started last thursday! That was wicked fun too! Can't wait for tomorrow.
Well, that actually just reminded me that I need to go make a phone call, because I made a few too many plan's for tomorrow!

Christmas and New Years :)

I really enjoyed my Christmas this year.. it went very good.
Christmas eve, my family went to Christmas eve service at church. That was really good. When we got home, we opened present's from my dad's side of the family. It's kind of a tradition now.
Christmas day, we woke up.. not very early this year:), and we did our stockings and our family gifts. (I got a new camera!) That's definitely my favorite, now I won't have to steal my brother's all the time!
In the afternoon, we went to my mom's side of the family. It was fun!
At night, we went to one of my aunt and uncle's house on my dad's side for dessert and to catch up a little. That was fun too!

Retreat!

Soo,last weekend we went to Rumney for the retreat! I had a ton of fun..and I'm pretty sure everyone else did too :)
Friday night, we pretty much just did a session and settled in. It was a good night though.
Saturday, we did a game of capture the flag.. it was pretty intense for most people. I decided it'd be more fun to just watch everyone tackle each other and get all cut up and that fun stuff. That was the best part of Saturday, I'm pretty sure. :)
Sunday was good too, we went to the ropes course. That was pretty fun. That's pretty much all we did,then we had to pack up and leave. :(
Yeahh, so I was pretty much just drawing a blank on everything. So,there's not many details. But, I'm sure you can still figure out how much fun it was :)
I think that's about all I've been up to lately. I'm too tired remember if I've done anything else "interesting" since my last post though. <3

Washington D.C.

So, on Saturday my sister and I headed to to airport to leave for Washington D.C. :) It was about an 1 1/2 flight. It went smoothly. We got off the plane and decided we might want to leave the airport and actually go some where. Well, we decided to take a bus.. but we didn't really know where the bus was headed. So, we got off the bus at some random mall. It definetly wasn't the right place. We walked through the mall looking for a map or something to help us at least, but we couldn't find anything. We decided we'd just get back on a bus and head back to the airport. We did, and when we got to the airport we paid for a "super shuttle" (much easier than the bus) By the time we got to the hotel it was 3, I think. So that night we just relaxed at the hotel and went to Johnny Rocket's for dinner. :)
Sunday was very tiring,but soo much fun! We to a shuttle from the hotel, it took us to a subway station. We took a subway into Washington D.C. (our hotel we were staying at was in Arlington, VA) It took us a little while getting used to the subway "system" but by the end of the day we had the hang of it. We ended up finding the national mall and were able to look in a lot of the museums and we saw the white house. :)
Monday wasn't much fun; we woke up, got showered and stuff, got kicked out of the hotel;) and took the super shuttle to the airport. We had a 3 hour wait that way, but we figured that was better than being late and missing our flight. :)
The trip was a success! ..That's the most exciting thing I've been up to lately. :)
